VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT

Missoula Aging Services and the Western Montana Volunteer Center are proud to announce a new Brown Bag presentation and discussion series. The first meeting, entitled Volunteer Management in 55 minutes, will focus on the topics of Volunteer Retention and Recognition. It will be held free of charge at Missoula Aging Services on April 8th, at noon. This will be a great opportunity for volunteer coordinators and others to meet, network, and learn. ATTENTION VOLUNTEER COORDINATORS

To help your organization mangage the coordination of volunteers, Missoula Senior Service Corps and the Western Montana Volunteer Center offer a series of workshops to educate the community regarding volunteer management. The next 4 hour session, Introduction to Volunteer Coordination, will introduce participants to a wealth of useful information on the topic. Presenters Curtis Hammond and Helen Pohlman have over 40 years of volunteer management experience to share. Next session is May 7th, 2008.
