Events & Recognition Opportunities

Each year throughout our community there are a variety of organized events and opportunities for volunteer involvement and recognizing volunteers. Check with your favorite volunteer organization to see what they have planned and how you can get involved.

December 9th, 2009:
Volunteer Coordinator Training, Missoula Aging Services' Helen Pohlman and Curtis Hammond.  Registration and Pre-payment required.  Call 728-7682

January 18th, 2010: Martin Luther King Jr Day of Service. On January 19th we will take up President-elect Obama's call to service by creating the change we wish to see. To find out what is happening in your area or to host an event, please visit usaservice.org.

Lyle Heath Volunteer Recognition Award:
Adult and Youth categories: This volunteer recognition award is a great way for agencies to honor a volunteer.
